Goddess of the Night

She is personification of the night. She is the first-born, daughter of the moon; she will haunt you.
 
Sister to darkness, earth and Tartarus, she emerges from the void. A dark veil of mist she draws around you, as you cross the bronze threshold from day to night.
 
The siren’s lips enjoy the music you make, and you must play to amuse her. She will keep you dangling on that string in a nocturnal rhapsody of cascading melodies
 
 
Eclipsed by celestial shadows, she speaks of love, which no man will ever take. She dances on moonlight whispers, on silver-tongued promises, made but never kept. You’ll never catch her, just her laughter as she blows a final kiss.
 
Slayer of your light, her words are empty. She bathes in your torment and misery, your bittersweet existence.
